This music was prepared for the annual event 8F8M, an International Women's Day performance. I worked with contemporary dancer Lana Morton in designing these pieces to accompany her choreography. The full show lasted 2 hours, but this mix compiles the audio pieces I worked on.
There are four acts contained within:
1) introduction
2) on the chair
3) wolf dance
4) the red dress

Sound doesn't get much weirder than this.
This was an audio diary I worked on over 3 years through high-school, the release of my frustrations. The template was 99 x 40 second sound pieces. Each copy I made was randomized by a program I wrote, and assigned a serial number so if I ever lost the setlist I could generate it from the unique ID. This mp3 version is has all the randomized waves thrown into one large file. Normally it's meant to be listened to on random with 99 CD tracks, but it's hard for people to download that many files so this might be easier.
This album should be listened to on headphones or on a loud system, preferably intoxicated. It is known to produce headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heart palpatations, annoyance, head spins, among others. This is not a DJ mix, it's all original material created by myself, but with a few sounds stolen.
I don't offer this piece up for your enjoyment, I offer it in fairness, to abase myself, in my quest to bear all to the world in fear of being exposed.
